This Privacy Policy explains how Salesforce Org Compare & Sync (“the Extension”) handles user data. We are committed to ensuring your configurations and credentials remain secure and private.
The Extension acts as a client-side utility connecting directly to Salesforce APIs.
- Credentials & Session Tokens: The Extension reads your active session cookies (
sid) or custom domain URLs locally to authenticate requests to Salesforce.
- Metadata & Settings: All retrieved object descriptions, Apex code, and settings are fetched dynamically into your local browser environment.
2. Data Transmission
- No Third-Party Servers: We do not own, operate, or use any intermediate servers. All API requests are dispatched directly from your browser to Salesforce’s official servers (
*.salesforce.com and *.force.com).
- No Tracking: We do not collect analytics, logs, telemetry, or personally identifiable information.
3. Data Storage
- Local Storage: Your custom connection labels, org domain names, and preferences are saved locally inside your browser using Chrome’s
chrome.storage.local API.
